FAQS

What about my children?

With Sozo, your children are a top priority.  We offer a life-giving children’s ministry to ages 3 months thru sixth grade called Sozo Kids.  Sozo Kids is staffed with loving, background-checked volunteers whose mission is to partner with parents in raising kingdom leaders.  We encourage students 7th-12th grade to join us during the worship gathering. 6th grade is a transitional year, with 6th graders invited to join in Youth Group activities & also invited to belong, serve & develop leadership in Kids Ministry.

What are Sunday morning services like?

Every Sunday, you will find a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Our gatherings include passionate worship, Biblical teaching and an opportunity to respond and receive ministry.  Children are cared for in fun-filled Sozo Kids gatherings!

What will happen when I visit for the first time?

When you are visiting, we will not embarrass you or have you stand up. Though we look forward to getting to know you, we understand many people want to check us out and be anonymous for a while—and that’s fine with us!  Come meet some amazing people and see if Sozo Church is where you belong.

What should I wear?

You’ll find everything from shorts and flip flops to dress shirts and skirts. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Sozo Church is not about what you look like or what you wear.

I want to make Sozo Church my home church, what’s next?

What COVID-19 safety measures are being taken for in-person service?

First and foremost, we are asking people to be courteous and consider how we can love others in this time.  We want people to take individual responsibility and respect others choices in response to current COVID-19 conditions.  It is during times like this when controversial issues arise, where Christians are able to be unified despite differing opinions on non-salvation issues.  This is a great opportunity as the Body of Christ to remain unified in Him and stay focused on His mission.

If you are sick, or prefer to stay at home, messages will continue to be posted online through our digital platforms. We encourage you to stay connected in community while distanced.

For everyone choosing to gather in person, we are so excited to see you!  Our worship center provides room for social distancing, we have implemented extra cleaning practices, and there will be multiple sanitizing stations throughout the facility.  No registration is required for attendance at our gatherings, and we hope you will bring your friends!
